Fatherhood
Fatherhood Services
Young Parents Network recognizes the importance of a father in the family and the impact that fathers have upon their children. Through group meetings and home visits, YPN offers many services to help fathers who are parenting young children.
The prenatal father is strongly encouraged to attend group services with the mother of his child. The YPN Dad Specialist is available to help fathers access resources and/or services and to provide information and strategies that help them become more actively involved in the lives of their child(ren).
Now Be A Dad
The Eastern Iowa Alliance for Fatherhood & Children
YPN provides leadership to the Eastern Iowa Alliance for Fatherhood & Children, a collaborative of community agencies that recognize the impact upon children of the absentee father. The Alliance is dedicated to working together to increase awareness of the absentee father problem, to reach out to current absentee fathers and to enhance services to those fathers.
