Bright Futures
Young Parents Network's Parenting Program, "Bright Futures," provides education and support to young families with a child from birth to kindergarten. Mothers, fathers, children and grandparents are invited to participate in program activities.
Services Offered
Services provided as part of the Parenting Program include:

Weekly group meetings

Home visitation

Quarterly activity nights
Program collaborations will help connect participants to additional community services, including preschool opportunities and after-school programming for children.

Goals
The goals of this program are:

To increase competence and confidence in parents as they become their child's first and most important teacher

To develop skills in children that enable them to enter kindergarten ready to learn and experience success
Earning Points for the We Care Shop
All Bright Future participants earn points for the We Care Shop to spend on items provided. The We Care Shop is a collaborative community outreach project which benefits participants of all programs of the Young Parents Network.
